Shower Card for my Sister Carrie!

So...my baby sister is getting married!!
There are four of us girls and we're all so excited!
I chose this image becuase it looks like Carrie,
and I forever remember her like this!

The inside of the card reads...
"We read you fairy tales
when you were young,
knowing one day
your prince would come!
Wishing you a
Happily Ever After"

Close up of the image from
Sugar Nellie

I chose the
Cherish and Today Sentiments
for the front of the card
The pull tag says...
"For today is your
Someday"

There is a hodgepodge of product on this card.
Tim Holtz Crackle Paint, Stickles & Embellies
Paper from GCD Autumn Afternoon
Lace from Jo Ann Fabrics
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Vintage brads from Stampin' Up

Ian Kurt's Birthday Card and... Anya Ink Challenge

My sweet nephew is now a
Genuine Teenager!
How the heck did THAT happen?

The Anya Ink Challenge is about BLING
(Head On Over There and Check It Out!)

It's hard to create a card for a young man
with bling... but...
the paper is glittery (pic doesn't show very well)
the lapel on the suit coat is covered
in vintage photo stickles and
I added some silver embellies as well.

Whatcha think?

Posts Are Coming!

Okay - so... I just packed up my projects for the GIBBS swap I am doing on the
Cricut Message Board - one more thing off  my  list of things to do!
I had the most wonderful partner who made the most amazing goodies for me!
Can't wait to show them off and will post a link to the pics once they are on the MB.

I also have several cards to post ... and will get to those as well. I have been busy crafting every moment except for when I am sitting on the bleachers watching my eldest play basketball, or when I am at work, or when I should be sleeping, or when I am playing games with my youngest or when I am working on my sisters wedding, or when I am ... wait... need I go on? LOL I love every minute of my busy-ness and have managed to sneak in some craft time and just need to get it posted on my blog!
Am entering another Anya Ink Challenge - I really like their stamps! And can't wait for my new ones to arrive! I started out with some DIGIs and love them, too!
So, that's what's been going on in my little corner of the web.
Look for projects and cards each day for awhile - I've got lots to post!

Have a great day!

Coffee Collar Album

Project from GIBBS2
on the Cricut Message Board
One of the challenges was to create a
 Coffee Collar Album
I was paired with my younger sister!!!!
I decided to fill hers with colored images.
(We joke that I am the #1 colorer in our family :))
She is one of the most talented crafters I know and I
admire her work tremendously!
The images are:
Tildas
Sugar Nellies
Whiff of Joy
and Belles 'N Whistles
I used Copics and Twinkling H20s

I painted the coffee collars in Chocolate Acrylic Paint
and placed the sentiments and embellishments
under transparency paper.
