Birthday card with one of my new Digi stamps from Pollycraft!

I finally took the digi stamp plunge.
Come on in... the water is fine! :)
I kept the card very simplistic so the focus
would remain on the image.

Tri-Shutter Birthday Card

Another birthday card
this one is for a 14th b-day.
Tri-Shutter cards are sooo much fun to do!
I used several techniques ~ paper piercing
cuttlbug, punches, Twinkling H20s, Copics
and Clear Glass Finish on the buttons, too!

The paper is from My Mind's Eye
Feels great to be back in my
craft room!

Hello Everyone!

I am posting a few peeks to projects I have
completed for a swap on the Cricut MB
This swap has challenged me
to think beyond paper crafting!
GIBBS stands for "Girls I'm Broke Box Swap"
The object is to make everything
(well - almost everything)
and use items from your 'stash'.
A list of words was supplied and we were given
creative license to make whatever came to mind.

Without Further Ado
One of the days was
"Coasting Through Life"
I stamped unfinished tiles
with stazon ink.
My swap partner loves elephants!

From the Outside Looking In

I chose to do a recessed window card
Super fun!
I added some ribbon so my partner could
hang it if she wanted to.

Purse * a nality

I used SU Chocolate Chip cardstock
applied versa mark and thick embossing powder and
used the faux leather technique.
The flap is secured with a brad and velcro.

I made a little wallet to match and used photo corners
on the inside to hold a gift card.
I was taught to never give a purse without money!

Magic In A Box

Top of the box shows a handmade paper flower.
The box itself was super simple to make.
The inside of the box is decorated with
cricut cuts, acetate strips for the butterflies
handmade flowers using Plantin Schoolbook
And of course -pink/brown ribbon!
Mom, Wife, Sis and her initials JGH

Family is the theme of this swap for me
as my swap partner also happens to be
my real-life sister!
She loves ribbon so I incorporated it into as many
items as I possibly could!
I will post many more pics once we exchange our
items this weekend!
